Upon completing your personal training course, you’ll earn the Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma Practitioner in Personal Training qualification, which is a CIMSPA-endorsed and highly regarded across the fitness industry.

This certification is recognised both in the UK and internationally, ensuring you’re well-equipped to work in gyms, fitness studios, or as a self-employed Personal Trainer.

No prior qualifications are required to enrol! The Personal Training Diploma includes the Gym Instructor qualification, which serves as the foundation for your learning. This comprehensive approach ensures you gain all the essential knowledge and skills needed to become a certified personal trainer.

While prior gym experience isn’t a strict requirement, it is highly recommended. To successfully complete the course, you’ll need to be comfortable performing free weight exercises with correct technique, as this is a key component of the assessment.

Our training focuses on developing your ability to coach and instruct these exercises rather than teaching the basics of performing them. Familiarity with gym equipment and exercise form will help you get the most out of the course and set you up for success.

Absolutely! EPTI’s online learning platform is designed to fit around your schedule, allowing you to study at your own pace. Whether you dedicate evenings, weekends, or spare moments to your coursework, the flexibility ensures you can balance your studies with work or other commitments.

Most students complete the online e-Learning and coursework assignments for our Personal Training Diploma courses within 12–16 weeks. However, this timeline is flexible and can be adjusted to fit your schedule—allowing you to progress faster or take extra time if needed.

After finishing the online portion, students attend an intensive two-week practical training and assessment course, running from 9 am to 5 pm daily, at their chosen campus location. This hands-on experience ensures you're fully prepared for a successful career as a Personal Trainer.

Upon enrolment, you’ll be assigned a dedicated support tutor who will assist you throughout your online studies. Your tutor will provide personalised feedback and guidance to help you successfully complete your coursework assignments.

You can reach your tutor via telephone, email, WhatsApp, or through our dedicated student Facebook group, ensuring you have support whenever you need it. Our team is committed to helping you stay on track and achieve your goals.

To complete the online portion of the course, you’ll need a computer or tablet with internet access. All study materials are provided through our e-learning platform. We recommend having a notebook for taking personal notes and a quiet space for focused study.

You can begin your studies right away! Once your enrolment is confirmed and your first payment is made (if using a payment plan), you’ll gain immediate access to our student area and online learning resources. This means you can dive into your coursework and start working towards your goals without delay.

EPTI course fees are transparent, with no hidden costs. The price you see includes tuition, tutor support, registration and certification, and gym admission. For those opting for accommodation packages, the fee covers self-catering student accommodation.

Please note that course fees do not include air travel or food during the practical course.

Payments can be made securely via credit or debit card through the EPTI online booking system, using the encrypted Stripe payment gateway for your peace of mind.

We offer flexible payment options:

- Pay the full amount upfront, or
- Spread the cost over four equal monthly payments.

Once the first payment is made, you’ll gain full access to the student area and learning resources, allowing you to start your studies immediately.

Our Gym Instructor and Personal Training courses are CIMSPA-accredited, meaning they are recognised throughout the fitness industry. This ensures graduates can easily access employment and self-employment opportunities upon certification.

While many graduates secure roles at top gyms, the majority choose to start their own personal training businesses, leveraging the skills and confidence gained during their training.

If you don’t pass your assessment on the first attempt, EPTI offers a free re-assessment during the same practical course, where possible and at the discretion of the team.

If a re-assessment cannot be scheduled during your course, you may return for re-assessment on a subsequent practical course on a date agreed with EPTI. In this case, a €50 re-assessment fee will apply, but only for practical exams. This fee does not apply to theory exam resits.

Alternatively, with your assessor’s approval, you may submit a video recording of yourself delivering a practical session in line with awarding body guidelines. This option comes at no additional cost.

Please note, all certifications must be completed within two years of enrolment.
